ZEROBASEONE announces its fandom name, fans react
ZEROBASEONE, the winning group of survival show “Boys Planet”, attracts the attention of all kpop fans.
The group will debut soon and have already found their fandom name.
On May 1st, group members hosted a live stream to celebrate the launch of their community platform.
Members took the opportunity to greet fans and answer their questions.
The group also announced their official fandom name: ZEROSE!
It is a combination of “zero” and “pink”. Kim Ji Woong further described the meaning by explaining the connection between ZEROSE and ZEROBASEONE’s abbreviated name, ZB1, which is “ze-be-one” in Korean.
He explained that fans all suggested some very interesting names and chose “ZEROSE” because of its meaning:
“If you take ‘ze-be-one’ from ZEROBASEONE, ‘rose’ remains. So if you combine ZB1 with pink, you get ZEROBASEONE. It captures the feeling that we, ZB1 and Rose, are one. »
The fandom name definitely caught the eye as it topped the Twitter trends in South Korea.
After hearing the band’s fandom name, fans reacted:
