Yoo Ah In Allegedly Gone, Fans Appeal To Actors
Yoo Ah In reportedly disappeared after police raided and seized two of his properties on March 7.
The search was part of an investigation into his drug habit and evidence was found at his homes in Itaewon and Hannam-dong.
After gathering evidence, it was revealed that Yoo Ah In disappeared after being accused of drug use. According to Channel A News, unopened mail was left on the actor’s doorstep for more than a month.
A neighbor said Yoo Ah In used to go for a walk but hadn’t been seen in a while.
Fans issued a statement urging the actor to put things right. They write : “We ask Yoo Ah In to hold a nationwide press conference and give a detailed account of what happened. We are confident that this will give him a chance to resume his acting career.”
The case of Yoo Ah In is a serious matter with the police, so much so that the head of the National Police Agency raised the matter himself. “We will subpoena Yoo Ah In for questioning. We will examine his medical records.” he said on Tuesday.
Some have pointed out the slow pace of investigation in the case of Yoo Ah In. The investigation into her habitual use of propofol shifted focus when her hair sample tested positive for three other drugs, marijuana, cocaine and ketamine.
