Will the series version of True Lies have a season 2?

True Lies, Adaptation of the Film by James Cameron (adaptation of the film La Totale) was a first for this season and its fate was sealed.

It’s the end of the TV season on the major American networks. As the writers’ strike hits Hollywood, the chains are making the final decisions about extending or ending certain series. True Lies was one of the novelties of the season (to be seen in France on Disney+). The CBS network just decided that the series won’t be returning next year. His last episode will therefore be broadcast on May 17th. Another drama that started in September was also canceled at the same time, and so is it East New York. In both cases, bad audiences defeated the series.

On the other hand, gossip narrowly saves his own skin after first being canceled by the channel. But 3 days after that decision, Sony (producer of the series) managed to snag a final 13-episode season from the channel to wrap up the story.
