What Nile Rodgers had to say about LE SSERAFIM’s “UNFORGIVEN” will only add to the fans’ excitement

THE SERAFIM recently released the full track listing for the upcoming studio album UNFORGIVEN, the band’s first full-length album. Fans were surprised to see the legendary American producer Nile Rodgers in the credits, but the excitement and surprises didn’t stop there. Earlier today, a video of LE SSERAFIM members waving and talking to Nile Rodgers during a video call was uploaded to the group’s YouTube channel.

Rodgers has worked on countless insanely successful songs, a catalog that has fans only more excited for the release of LE SSERAFIM’s title track, Unforgiven. The producer has worked on mega hits such as madonna“Like a Virgin”, idiot punk“luck win” David bowie“Let’s Dance” and beyonce“cuff it”.

The video contained many amazing moments including the girls’ adorable reactions when they got to talk to such an amazing musical figure. Nile Rodgers himself found them super adorable and laughed every time one of them sang him well-deserved praise.

The most interesting part of the video came when Yunjin, the group’s designated English spokesman, asked him what he thought of their next track. She even asked him to share his thoughts during the work process on the catwalk. Much to the girls’ delight, Rodgers had nothing short of big words to say, and his reaction only raises expectations for the song.

The producer revealed that the song was so good that he quit work on another album he was on just to work on the LE SSERAFIM track!

Honestly I wake up every day and I love to play. When I heard the song I thought it was great and even though I was working on another record I just said let me play real quick just to see what I get.

This caught the girls by surprise, and they practically yelled as they repeatedly thanked Rodgers. The producer then explained a bit more about what he was trying to add to the song. Rodgers said the song was already playing “too cool” for him he wanted to try to make it funky.

The first thing I did was decode the track and I was like, ‘Wow, that sounds really cool. And then I was like, ‘Okay, this looks finished and complete to me because I loved it.’ Then I just started jamming and figured out how to make it funkier.
