UNIVERSE platform is shutting down after being sold to SM Entertainment’s Dear U (Bubble) Soompi

UNIVERSE will close its doors.

Indeed, as announced today, after two years of existence, the platform will be closed on January 11th.

Launched on January 28, 2021, the platform will be permanently retired on February 17, 2023.

The platform was sold by NCsoft to SM Entertainment’s DearU company, the company behind the creation of Bubble, the messaging system between fans and artists.

User accounts can thus be transferred to Bubble, which will now regain the platform rights.

We find among the artists represented on UNIVERSE: (G)I-DLE, THE BOYZ, ATEEZ, MONSTA X, IVE, Kang Daniel and many others.
