UFC: Video of Jamahal Hill’s bloody injury

During Jamahal Hill’s victory over Brazilian Glover Texeira at the UFC on Sunday, a rather impressive video of the American’s injury was posted on social media.

Jamahal Hill became the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion on Sunday by defeating Brazilian Glover Texeira at UFC 283 in Rio. A video of this fight went viral.

As Hill sat in his corner between rounds four and five, a staff member poured water on his head to cool him off. Nothing extraordinary so far. Only when the water runs off his face it’s blood red. A visual effect that wowed the fans who shared this video en masse.

Note that Hill (12 wins, 1 loss and a career tie, 6-1-1 at UFC) put in an incredible performance to claim his first title against an MMA legend (43 years old, 33-9, 16-7 in the UFC), who is retiring.
