TXT Holds Billboard 200 Position for 6 Consecutive Weeks with “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION”
TXT still maintains its spot on the Billboard 200 with album The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION, gaining leaks for six consecutive weeks!

With their new album “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” TXT once again prove their power in the charts.

On the Billboard 200 chart, TXT managed to chart the album at number 57, marking the week ending March 18. The Name Chapter TEMPTATION has now spent six consecutive weeks on the charts. Notably, TXT also joined BTS and BLACKPINK as the third K-pop artist in history to ever accomplish the feat.
In this category, the Billboard 200 lists the most popular albums in the United States ranked by song trend. “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” was released on January 27th with its title track “Sugar Rush Ride” which received a lot of love at home and abroad.

On February 5, Billboard announced that the album debuted on the Top 200 Albums chart, securing the No. 1 position. The United States is the world’s largest music market, and given the dominant strength of their album, that shows the mass toward popularity of their release.
When it debuted on the Billboard 200, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” amassed 161,500 equivalent units in the week ended February 2nd.

As if that wasn’t enough, it also racked up 152,000 traditional album sales and 9,000 streaming equivalent album units. The stunning entry also netted them 500 track-equivalent album units in first-week sales and 13.24 million audio streams.
On February 12, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” stayed strong in the top 3 on the Billboard 200, making its second week entry. Due to sales of 48,000 equivalent album units, TXT has now joined their senior group BTS to chart an album in the top 3 for two consecutive weeks.

The third week’s ranking followed, maintaining its place in the top 10 before falling to No. 12 for the fourth straight week. In its fifth week, it climbed back into the top 40 on the Billboard 200, overtaking SM Entertainment Boy Group NCT 127.
TXT Tops Billboard’s World Albums Chart, 100 Artists, Plus!
“The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” also made it onto other Billboard charts. These included the world albums chart at No. 2, Artist 100 at No. 41, the best selling albums chart at No. 6 and the most recent album sales chart at No. 5.
Aside from Billboard, the album’s title track “Sugar Rush Ride” currently amassed 102,296,652 views on YouTube as of March 15th. The MV was uploaded on January 27th.
According to Hanteo, they sold 1.8 million copies on the first day of release. The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION beat its previous recording on Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child, which sold 918,413 copies.
