TXT’s “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” stays on Billboard 200 for 5 straight weeks, beating NCT 127

Since its release on January 27, TXT’s mini-album The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION has maintained its position on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart.

On March 7, Billboard announced that “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” has now spent its fifth consecutive week on the Top 200 Albums chart and continues to remain solid on its Top 40 list. This table lists the most famous albums in the United States. In the week ending March 11, the album held up strongly at number 32.

As The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION continued to make headlines with its records and sales online, it resulted in TXT becoming the second K-pop artist to record an album for five straight weeks. The group now sits behind their senior group BTS on that performance.

TXT also surpassed NCT 127 for having the most consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200. On February 5, Billboard announced that TXT’s “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” had officially entered the Top 200 Albums chart, earning the number one spot.

According to Luminate, the album achieved 161,500 equivalent units and 152,000 traditional album sales in the week ended February 2. It also amassed 9,000 streaming equivalent album units.

The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION also reached 13.24 million audio streams and 500 track-equivalent album units in its first week of release.

On February 12, it was announced that the album entered the Billboard 200 Top 3 chart, earning its second straight week. For its second break, the album sold 48,000 equivalent album units. This was recorded by Luminate and covered the weekend of February 18th.

In its third week, the album maintained its spot in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 before falling to number 12 in its fourth week. However, it came back up for the fifth straight day.

In addition to the Billboard 200, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” spent five weeks at #1 on the Billboard World Albums chart, #4 on the Top Selling Albums and Top Selling Current Albums charts, and #20 on the Albums by Tastemakers chart.

TXT also spent its 39th non-consecutive week on the Billboard Artist 100 ranking at number 29.
