Top 5 K-Pop Acts From The Americas In Government Poll Revealed Kpop News
The Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE) also conducted the Global Hallyu Trends survey this year, and the results for 2023 have just been released. The survey examines how Korean cultural content is perceived around the world. 25,000 men and women from 26 different countries between the ages of 15 and 59 took part.
All regions of the world have been considered, with the results for North and South American countries being as follows.
1. United States
bts leads the US top 5 with 37.2%, while NOIRPINK follow in second place with 10.1%. PSI Third place with 2.2%, with Rain0.7% secured fourth place. The top 5 ended with EXO etc user interface with 0.5% each.
2. Canada
BTS holds the top spot thanks to the group’s dominance of 40.6%. BLACKPINK ranks second again with 8.6%, while PSY also remains third in Canada thanks to 3.4%. BIG BANG Fourth place with 1.1% during Girls Generation, AILEE etc TWICE they all share fifth place with 0.8% each.
3. Mexico
BTS’ dominance continues in Mexico as well, with their 46.2% of the group securing nearly half of the total votes in the poll. BLACKPINK’s 11% puts them in second place and TWICE’s 2.4 in third place. PSY takes fourth place with 2.2% super junior appear for the first time at 1.4%.
4. Brazil
BTS leads the Brazilian top 5 with 36.7%, while BLACKPINK follows in second place with 8.8%. PSY is third again at 6%, with EXO fourth at 2.2%. TWICE and bored share fifth place with 0.7%.
5. Argentina
The country gives BTS its biggest lead, with the group taking 49.9% of the poll results. BLACKPINK is second with 8.4%, while PSY is third with 2.1. TWICE ranks fourth with 1.4% of the vote, while BTS is the lead singer Jungkook finishes the top 5 at 0.7%.
