The Glory’s Cha Joo Young Reveals If Her Body Was Edited In A Nude Scene That Got Viral

The long-awaited second part of the Netflix hit series The Glory has finally arrived, much to the delight of fans!

After its release, The Glory Part 2 became the hottest topic on the internet.

In a scene from Part 2, Cha Joo Young, who plays narcissistic flight attendant Choi Hye Jeong, clashes with tyrannical mastermind Park Yeon Jin, played by Lim Ji Yeon.

During their confrontation, she suddenly takes off her blouse and bares her chest.

In the credits of “The Glory,” a woman named Lee Do Yeon was mentioned as “Choi Hye Jeong’s lookalike,” leading fans to this conclusion.

Some have therefore said that the production unit used computer graphics and advanced technology to replace the actress’ body with that of her double.

In an interview for Osen, Cha Joo Young answered the questions many had about his role as Choi Hyejeong and answered the burning question.

Cha Joo Young first spoke about the scene where she is topless with Jeon Jaejoon.

“I’ve been waiting for this day.

It’s a scene I’ve talked to the writer and director a lot about, and it’s something I knew I had to do when I decided to play the role of Hyejeong. Hyejeong herself made it clear that she had to undergo breast augmentation surgery.

But I didn’t get that, and the part that a lot of people care about is if there were any special effects involved in that scene. But instead of not removing [mes vêtements], yes, it was my body. This may seem vague, but I wanted to be precise.

A replacement was ready and effects planned. A lot of effort was put into the second part of The Glory and the important parts were written. I didn’t undress for no reason.

A doppelganger was used in the scene with Jaejoon where my back is visible. But in the scene where I wear a shirt and take it off, it’s my body. Yes, that part was my body. But in this scene, some special effects editing was done. »

She also revealed what she needed to do to match her body to that of Hye Jeong’s character.

“Please write in the article that I am actually quite thin. I gained about ten to six pounds for the role and it shows in KDrama.

So far I haven’t quite regained my pre-roll weight, but it’s coming off. I gained about 14 pounds while filming the KDrama and I’m back to my normal weight now. I lost almost everything.

Gaining weight like that wasn’t too much of a burden for me. The topic of weight gain came up when I was cast for the role, so I put my worries aside.

There wasn’t a single time I was promised that the role would be fairly early or visually focused. Although Hyejeong tried to look pretty and was pretty, that wasn’t the aim of the role. That didn’t put me under any pressure.

How did I prepare for how Hyejeong speaks? I looked for many references but it was difficult to find them because this role was difficult to fulfill. There was no such person around me who spoke like Hyejeong’s character.

So I had to find this on my own. I tried to take it easy because it was a difficult task and I tried to maintain a state of tension. If you look at my notes app on my phone it’s all swear words and insults.

Since my family is at home, I asked for their understanding while swearing. I told them when I would train and asked them not to be surprised at my words. I just thought “now I live with the heart of cursing”. That’s how I approached it. »
