Son Myeong-Oh wants to return for the third season of The Glory, the author replies
Screenwriter Kim Eun-sook delighted fans of The Glory when she hinted at the possibility of a third season of the series.
Kim Eun-sook, director Ahn Gil-ho, actors and actresses Cha Joo Young (Choi Hye-jeong), Kim Hieora (Lee Sa-rah), Park Sung Hoon (Jeon Jae-joon), Jung Sung-il (Ha Do -young) and Kim Gun Woo (Son Myeong-oh) have reunited to commentate on hit Netflix series The Glory.
At the beginning of the commentary sessions, they particularly talked about the scene of Son Myeong-Oh, Kim Hieora said: “Ah, I felt weird after filming that scene. I just wasn’t doing so well. For some reason I still felt very sensitive after filming. »
She added: “Apparently Yeon-jin (actress Im Ji Yeon) felt the same way. We both said to each other: “Let’s not take on those roles for a while. It may not be good for our mental health. » »
Kim Eun-sook said such scenes weren’t easy for her either: “Writing scenes like this mentally exhausted me. It gave me a completely different experience than when I was only writing happy stories. It was too dark, you know…”
Park Sung Hoon added: “I agree with you. I usually ask myself, “What’s his problem?” », I’m talking about the character Myung-Oh.
After that, he continued to playfully look at Kim Gun Woo: “I don’t think Myeong-Oh hasn’t lost his character yet. It’s been months since we finished our shoot but he still wears long hair like Myung-Oh. »
Kim Gun Woo said: “I wasn’t in the scene, but I remember telling everyone how much I wanted to go to the location on the day of shooting and watch the scene being shot.”
Cha Joo Young replied: “Yeah, we all loved that scene. We even thought: “Are we going to go on a trip together after filming or something?” »
Kim Eun-sook then revealed: “Oh, actually we talked about ‘The Glory: Part 3’ at the after party. I asked everyone, “What do you think about me writing the third season of the series?” In response, Myeong-oh asked me to bring him back to life. »
She laughs and continues: “Myeong-oh said to me, ‘Please bring me back to life.’ Is there no possibility? I will definitely come again. Just bring me back to life. I want to participate in The Glory: Part 3! »
Kim Gun Woo once again expressed his desire to take part in the third season of The Glory. “I don’t want to imagine The Glory: Part 3 without Myeong-oh.”
