SM Entertainment Warns Fans Against Cheating With NCT DREAM, WayV Names For Festival – K-GEN

A K-POP festival has announced artists who will not be attending.

Recently, a K-POP festival titled “FEST WORLD TOUR 2023” announced its lineup. This is a festival that according to the posters was supposed to take place in Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia and Thailand.

According to the event’s promotional posters, the festival will host SEVENTEEN, ENHYPEN, NCT DREAM, WayV and MIRAE.

On February 4th, PLEDIS Entertainment and BELIFT LAB will present however, stated that SEVENTEEN and ENHYPEN would not be attending this event and their names would be released without consulting the agencies.

In the process, SM Entertainment did the same and denounced false information using the names NCT DREAM and WayV.

The agency said:

“We have heard that an organization has mentioned our artists NCT DREAM and WayV and said they will be attending an event in Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia and Thailand.

We would like to let the public know that this information is false and incorrect and that it is an attempt to mislead people. We would like to clarify that our artists NCT DREAM and WayV will not be participating in this event.

We ask the public not to react to these plans. »
