SM Entertainment announces that its artists will be joining Weverse
On April 14th Industry insiders have reported that artists from agency SM Entertainment will be joining Weverse.
On April 17, SM Entertainment confirmed they were moving forward with their plans to integrate their artists and business into Weverse.
In a statement to users of SM Entertainment’s official fan club service, Kwangya Club, they said they will be migrating all fan club services to Weverse in the near future.

We sincerely thank all the fans using the “SM ARTIST OFFICIAL FANCLUB” service and would like to inform you that there will be a change in the operating platform of “SM ARTIST OFFICIAL FANCLUB”.
In the near future, the Weverse platform will offer all activities related to the “SM ARTIST OFFICIAL FANCLUB”.
We expect our fans will have many questions regarding the sudden platform change announcement. Please understand that we will inform you about the times and details of the platform changes through a new notice.

According to insiders, 12 solo artists and groups are expected to join the platform in the second half of 2023.
