SEVENTEEN just broke a historic record!
On April 24, the boy band celebrated their comeback with a new mini-album called FML.
Then, within a week, sales of this work enabled SEVENTEEN to break an all-time record for a Korean album.
In fact, it was BTS’ MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 that held the record for the best-selling K-POP album to date, selling 4.2 million copies since its release (including 3.3 million in its first week).
On May 1st, Hanteo announced the sales figures for the new SEVENTEEN album in a week, and we learn that the group broke the record for “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” in just one week!
Selling 4,550,214 copies in seven days, SEVENTEEN’s “FML” is the best-selling K-POP album of all time.
