The 20 pieces presented by Franklin were made through the daily activities of the people of Kalimantan, such as fishing, farming, washing clothes in the river, going to festivals. However, clad in style so that the old ones can accept it without feeling old.

“There was washing clothes, going to the river, going to the Mahakam river, the inspiration came from there,” he said.

Through this collection, there are different colors of the island of Borneo, and the hidden messages contained in each painting that Franklin created. As a fashion designer who studies fashion on a self-taught basis, she wants to convey the traditions, customs, and mysteries of the place where she was born and raised.

Not only that, through his collaboration with The Apurva Kempiski Bali, he wants to show the island’s cultural diversity through Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. According to him, to bring this great country together, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika is a very powerful mantra so that as a designer He was greatly inspired by Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.
