Season 2 of The Uncanny Counter announces cast
Following the success of the first season, fans of the hit Korean K-drama The Uncanny Counter (Demon Catchers) have been eagerly awaiting news of a possible second season. And finally the wait is over!
tvN has confirmed that the highly anticipated sequel The Uncanny Counter will be released in the second half of 2023, much to the delight of fans around the world.
On April 20, the production announced that the five leads, Jo Byeong Gyu (So Moon), Yoo Joon Sang (Ga Mo Tak), Kim Sejeong (Do Ha Na), Yeom Hye Ran (Choo Mae Ok), and Ahn Suk Hwan are there (Choi Jang Mool), everyone will come back!
The cast of The Uncanny Counter 2 is getting new members too!
In addition to the five main actors, Jin Sun Kyu, Kang Ki Young, Kim Hieora and Yoo In Soo have been cast for the series.
Jin Sun Kyu will play the role of Joo Seok, an avid firefighter who is also something of a savior of So Moon and cannot turn a blind eye to injustice.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo Kang Ki Young and The Glory actress Kim Hieora will transform into powerful villains.
Kang Ki Young will play the role of Pil Gwang, a demon who dreams of becoming the best predator with the worst power, while Kim Hieora will play the role of the evil Gelly.
Finally, Yoo In Soo will take on the role of newly recruited hunter Jeok Bong from All of Us Are Dead and Alchemy of Souls.

The Uncanny Counter is a fantasy thriller based on the webtoon of the same name. The series follows a group of demon hunters who disguise themselves as restaurant workers to protect their town from evil spirits.
