Rocky: how to rediscover the saga in the best conditions?
As Creed III sweeps through theaters, the Rocky saga gets a second youth with an issue steel book and 4K UHD to rediscover these monuments of cinema.
In early March, Rocky and Rocky II were released as a SteelBook edition to delight fans and give them a collection to choose from.
Rocky
In the popular neighborhoods of Philadelphia, Rocky Balboa does boxing matches for a few tens of dollars from time to time under the moniker “the Italian stud.” However, Mickey, his old trainer, dumps him. Meanwhile, Apollo Creed, the world heavyweight champion, is looking for a new opponent to defend his title: his choice will be Rocky.
Rocky II
After boxer Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) went the distance with world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers), boxing fans are screaming for a rematch. But Rocky, who has suffered serious injuries, announces his retirement. Despite trying to rebuild his life, Rocky realizes he cannot escape his true calling. The ring calls to him again and the “Italian Stallion” must prepare for the fight of his life.
From March 29th, the saga continues with the fate of the following two parts: Rocky III (vs. Mr. T) and Rocky IV (vs. Dolph Lundgren).
Rocky III
Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) is making his way into the hearts of millions and his life couldn’t be better. With Creed’s help, Rocky fights to reclaim “The Eye of the Tiger” before taking on Lang in a grueling rematch!
Rocky IV
Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) is the heavyweight boxing champion of the world, but he faces a new challenger: Drago (Dolph Lundgren), a fighter backed by the Soviet Union. Rocky prepares for a very intense fight in which he will have to defend not only himself but also the honor of his country!
