Product Recall: This basmati rice should not be consumed due to the presence of a pesticide
Taureau Ailé brand basmati rice was recalled for consumption on Monday 23 January due to the presence of a banned pesticide in the product. People who possess this rice are advised not to consume it.
If you intend to cook rice, you must be careful that it is not Taureau Ailé Whole Wheat Basmati Rice. With good reason, the presence of a banned pesticide was detected in the batch, leading the Lustucru Group to initiate a product recall this Monday, January 23.

This is lot 3038354593302, marketed February 7, 2022 to March 1, 2022is January 2025. This product is also sold in many supermarkets in France and in particular in Carrefour, Auchan, Galec, Cora, Intermarché and Casino stores.
Government site Rappel Conso advised that the product should not be consumed and urged buyers of this rice to bring it back to the point of sale. Packages will be refunded or exchanged
