Plus belle la vie: Which cult series did Stéphane Henon almost play in?

This is a revelation from our colleagues at Télé Loisirs during Canneséries: Stéphane Henon almost starred in another cult series. And you know her very well!

We thought we knew everything about the Hélène series and the boys, but obviously we don’t. The series’ casting reveals amazing secrets shared by Patrick Puydebat with our colleagues at Télé Loisirs. While his role as Nicolas is inseparable from him today, it’s another actor who almost camped him out: Stephane Henon :

My role was already taken. In fact, another actor was approached for the role of Nicolas. This actor had a great career after that. He had a regular role in Plus belle la vie. He even toured with us as a guest at Les vacances de l’amour. He was super nice. He also said to me when he arrived on set: “You know I was the one who was supposed to do Nicolas, but at the last moment they changed…” He’s the one who told me this story!

Stéphane Henon, like many actors, started with small roles and in the 90’s AB Productions was a very strong job provider for actors with its series. When he didn’t have the role, he still guested in Hélène and the Boys, then in Love Holidays.
