Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye to Star in Romantic Comedy Doctor Slump
Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye have been confirmed as the stars of an upcoming romantic comedy Kdrama.
The story, which literally translates to “Doctor Slump,” seems to follow the classic “enemies in love” scenario. It has also been confirmed that actors Yoon Bak and Gong Sung Ha will join the cast.
Doctor Slump is a romantic comedy that follows the story of Yeo Jung Woo (Park Hyung Sik) and Nam Ha Neul (Park Shin Hye) as they try to revive their lives when they face a crisis after only succeeding ways have gone.
The two rivals who hate each other will come together at the darkest time of their lives and elevate each other, delivering smiles, excitement and heartwarming affirmation in the process.
Park Hyung Sik will play Yeo Jung Woo, who was once a plastic surgeon star but ends up collapsing after working hard all his life.
He was the top student at his medical school and exercised his skills with great popularity for his character, becoming everyone’s darling. A mysterious accident slows down his success.

Park Shin Hye will play an anesthetist named Nam Ha Neul, who is going through her own exhaustion after being called a genius her entire life.
Even as an adult, she is a workaholic doctor who lives a life without pleasure and knows nothing other than to study and work. However, she suddenly decides to change one day by reflecting on her broken life.

As Park Shin Hye and Park Hyungsik’s first reunion project in 10 years since “Heirs,” “Doctor Slump” also marks Park Shin Hye’s first comeback project after her marriage and pregnancy.
On the other hand, the kdrama is also directed by director Oh Hyun Jong of Find Me in Your Memory and Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, and written by screenwriter Baek Sun Wo of What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim.
