NewJeans, THE BOYZ, More take over the Circle Weekly Charts

Various K-pop artists topped the weekly Circle Chart chart covering February 19-25, 2023.

Circle Chart reveals weekly rankings: THE BOYZ, NewJeans, SEVENTEEN, More Rank

The chart included releases, artists and albums that topped the week of February 19-25. It showed charts with Album, Download, Digital, Streaming, Global K-Pop and Social charts.

Circle Chart ensures artists get the recognition they deserve because K-Pop is about enjoying the music and the content. Alongside the charts, Circle Chart held an offline ceremony to celebrate its 30th anniversary and honor awards to various Korean acts.

With the growing popularity of the genre these days, it’s reaching a wider audience, resulting in musicians gaining recognition.

Lee Chan Won hit #1 on the album charts with his debut studio album ONE. This was followed by THE BOYZ’s BE AWAKE, their eighth mini-album.

Meanwhile, the META version of “BE AWAKE” also entered the charts, peaking at #5. NewJeans took over at #3 with “OMG,” followed by TXT’s “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” at #4.

In the download charts, THE BOYZ topped the charts at number 1 with their title track “ROAR”. Lee Chan Won followed in second place with his song “Wish Lanterns”, the lead track of his album “ONE”.

At No. 3, Jeong Dong Won debuted “Forever,” and STAYC reached No. 4 with their viral song “TEDDY,” which gained popularity in February. SEVENTEEN completed the Top 5 with their song “Fighting” (feat. Lee Young Ji).

The digital and streaming charts were dominated by NewJeans, who took home another incredible Triple Crown. On Circle Chart’s weekly chart, NewJeans maintained its strong three-point place in digital, streaming and global K-pop.

NewJeans ranked #1 with “Ditto”, #2 with “OMG” and #3 with “Hype Boy”. Meanwhile, soloist Younha held onto No. 4 with “Event Horizon.”

SEVENTEEN BSS closed both charts with “Fighting” at number 5.

NewJeans continues to expand in the global K-pop chart rankings. Their three songs “OMG”, (#1) “Ditto”, (#2) and “Hype Boy” (#3) were able to stay in the top 3 positions.

In fourth place, LE SSERAFIM ranked No. 5 with “ANTIFRAGILE” and “Fighting” by SEVENTEEN BSS.

In previous circle charts covering February 12-18, the social chart stayed the same, with BLACKPINK taking first place. They were followed by NewJeans at No. 2, BTS at No. 3, Choi Yu Ree at No. 4. However, there was a shift as Lisa, the youngest member of BLACKPINK, entered the top 5 and took fifth place.
