Netizens slam ‘The Glory’ for ‘useless’ NSFW scene as actress’ past interview resurfaces

A past interview in which FameIt is Cha Joo Young revealed she turned down a director’s request that she wear a form-fitting outfit is going viral.

In an interview with Allure Korea, the actress revealed an anecdote about the viral scene where Cha Joo Young wears a white dress. According to the actress, she hadn’t planned on wearing this dress.

The actress said that despite preparing another dress, the director insisted that she wear the white dress.

The director wanted me to wear the white dress, but I refused. I thought it would look too ugly on screen. But I ended up wearing the dress and filming it, not knowing the scene was going to go viral.

The interview resurfaced in Season 2 of Cha Joo Young amidst the NSFW scene Fame. Netizens’ reactions to the interview were divided, with some criticizing the director for not respecting the actress’ wishes, while others defending the director, saying the white dress was perfect for the scene.
