NETFLIX comments on Yoo Ah In’s positive drug test – K-GEN
NETFLIX has spoken.
The police recently investigated the actor as he was suspected of using propofol on a daily basis. However, his investigations revealed, among other things, that he had recently used marijuana.
Since that announcement, brands have distanced themselves from him and his image has been severely damaged.
Then, on February 24th, we found out that Yoo ah In had also tested positive for propofol.
Confirmed positive for two types of drugs, Yoo Ah In is in turmoil at the moment but has many projects going with NETFLIX.
Indeed, the timing for NETFLIX, which had made Yoo Ah In one of its major players in South Korea, is bleak as several projects featuring the actor are set to be released on the platform.
In fact, very soon we must find him in the drama “Goodbye Earth”, but also on the poster of the movie “The Match” starring Lee Byung Hun.
These two projects are already done but could be put on hold as NETFLIX fears the very negative impact Yoo Ah In’s presence could have on these two productions.
