NCT has its first sub-unit with Doyoung, Jaehyun and Jungwoo

A new sub-unit of NCT is born!

On March 9, the Sports Today news outlet announced that three idols would form a sub-unit of the NCT group, sparking much anticipation.

Your label SM Entertainment has now confirmed the report. In a statement to South Korean outlet Sports W, the K-pop agency said:

“Doyoung, Jaehyun and Jungwoo are preparing their first Unity album. We will share details when this is confirmed. »

Last year, Doyoung, Jaehyun and Jungwoo demonstrated their chemistry with performances of their Unit song “Can We Go Back” at the NCT 127 concert and also at the 2022 MBC Music Festival.

Their official unit debut is expected to take place in the first half of this year.

Thus, the trio becomes the first sub-unit of NCT not affiliated with any of the group’s four major sub-groups, namely NCT ​​U, NCT 127, NCT Dream and the China-based WayV.

On the other hand, this year SM Entertainment will debut NCT Tokyo, which is expected to be the latest addition to NCT.
