NCT Dream employees accused of plagiarizing Seventeen Show
NCT Dream released an in-house produced variety show called “Dream Loop” through their Youtube channel, in which the members run around looking for clues to help them escape.
Although the concept of being stuck in a dream is familiar to the band, Seventeen fans have noticed some similarities between Dream Loop and an episode of Seventeen’s original show, Going Seventeen.
A few years ago, GOING SEVENTEEN released a series called EGO. In the series, the guys were looking for a way out of an abandoned mental institution.
Similarities include the bodies of patients on the ground and the fact that the general atmosphere is eerie.
In addition, the clues had to be found in the files of the “patients”, which is also very similar in both cases.
In addition, the idols were all dressed the same, as “patients”. The patient gowns could have been different, but they looked very similar and had a kind of Mao collar.
On the other hand, the black accessory around the neck is a common film tool, a GoPro.
That’s not all. The first scene of each show begins with a patient waking up alone in what appears to be an abandoned room.
After seeing these similarities, fans took to social media to point out all the similarities, criticizing the NCT Dream staff for plagiarizing the concept of Seventeen.
On the other hand, some consider this concept to be quite classic and not an imitation.
Ultimately, SEVENTEEN fans agree that the blame should lie with the staff, not the artists. They tried to bring the matter to light by criticizing the respective authorities.
