Musical actor arrested four years after too lenient initial conviction for further rape – K-GEN

A musical actor was arrested for a second rape shortly after his release from prison for a first rape.

“A” (whose name was not released) was convicted in 2019 of raping a woman at a Busan bar in August 2017.

Initially sentenced to 5 years in prison, his sentence was reduced to 2.5 years after an appeal.

The recently released 38-year-old actor was recently arrested for yet another rape. He is accused of raping a bar employee on March 13.

The police are currently investigating.
