As a reason for the postponement, MBC clarified that they are now aiming to air the show simultaneously on different platforms, namely ABEMA and Naver NOW.

According to an MBC representative, the company had received a large number of requests to air the show on various platforms, including US and European services.

Also, the manager said there are other aspects the show needs to work on, most notably translation and subtitles. It will also help spread the content on foreign platforms.

The MBC representative said:

“We have received an enormous number of requests from global platforms, including those in America and Europe. In order to fully disseminate our content, processes are required in certain aspects such as subtitles and translations.”

On February 20th, MBC unveiled the list of participants, which included a total of 54 participants from different parts of the world.

The audition show is also directed by Production Manager (PD) Han Dong Chul, who directed previous popular survival shows such as Produce 101, Show Me The Money, and Unpretty Rapstar. It will also feature TVXQ Changmin, who was cast as the show’s host.

‘Fantasy Boys’ release happy signal song with ‘FANTASY’ MV

On February 27th, “Fantasy Boys” released the MV for their own hit “FANTASY”, which featured the boys in a school setting. In the music video, the contestants are shown in their school uniforms singing and dancing to the energetic song.

Viewers praised the MV for each member’s presence, including their screen time and how the MV included each trainee’s name. In addition to their unison performance, the MV also offered a dance break in which the different note categories were presented.

Internet users commented:

“The way they factor in grades and screen time for each trainee individually is pretty fair compared to other survival shows.”

“I thought it was going to be a performance video but this MV is really a great intro for the program, even all the trainees had some solo screen time with their names too.”
