Lucas has left NCT and WayV

NCT member Lucas has been on hiatus for about 2 years after being accused of cheating and gaslighting by his ex-girlfriend.

For several weeks Fans believe that Lucas will soon return to the group after several hints.

However, those hopes were dashed by an announcement from SM Entertainment.

On May 10th, SM Entertainment announced that Lucas is officially leaving NCT and WayV and will focus on his individual pursuits.

Here is the full announcement:

“Hello, this is SM Entertainment.

We inform you about the future activities of our artist Lucas.

After a serious discussion between Lucas and the agency, it was decided that Lucas would leave NCT and WayV and instead pursue solo activities.

The decision was made based on the belief that respecting other members and fans was the best option, and as such we apologize to all fans who have supported Lucas as a member of NCT and WayV.

From now on, Lucas will actively promote through various individual activities.

We want to thank the fans for their endless love for our artists and ask that you continue to show your care and support.
