“Like my son”: What movie does the poster for Tomer Sisley’s new unit remind us of?

TF1 offers Comme mon fils, the new unit starring Tomer Sisley, on March 20th. But when we saw the poster, it reminded us of a Clint Eastwood film.

Just released Balthazar, Tom Sisley returns with this new single Comme mon fils, which he also co-produces and which won an award at the Luchon Festival.

A young boy abandoned by his mother crosses paths with a thug on the run who decides to take him with him. Between bank robberies, the threat of the police and the obligation to always be on the go, the man and the child learn to become father and son, to love each other and to be inseparable…

When we look at the poster, it immediately brings to mind another film from 1993 and signed by Clint Eastwood called A Perfect World, which tells the story of how a little boy is taken hostage by a gangster. From this hunt will grow a very strong friendship. It was Kevin Costner who played the role of the gangster on the run in 1960s America.
