Korean netizens shocked after seeing ‘kissing event’ by Japanese group
Korean netizens can always find stories to discuss.
Recently, a popular online community shocked Korean netizens to an event hosted by a Japanese underground group.
The group in question is called Qppo and consists of four members: Shuri, Uno, Makichan and Chiaki.
Qppo (くぴぽ) is an idol group formed in 2014. It was established to promote Osaka Prefecture. Their slogan is “Osaka’s most unsuccessful idol”.
What shocked netizens about the group stems from a photo that has been circulating. The photo shows two people kissing.
According to the description of the picture, it is a fan event where the fans also lined up for a kiss after the usual handshake.
In the photo, it looks like a man and woman are kissing, but the netizen who posted the post mentioned that they are both men.

It’s an Osaka-based idol group called Qppo.
Her slogan is “4th generation idol who wants to be a woman”.
However, the person on the right is a man. »
A total of seventeen members have joined and left the group prior to the current four members; Founding member Makichan is the only person left. Both Shuri and Uno joined the group in 2021 and Chiaki in 2022.
According to the netizen, it would be Makichan in the photo. The netizen adds that Makichan is actually a man. However, Makichan presents herself as a woman on her social networks. However, it’s unclear if this is Makichan’s gender expression or an act of cross-dressing.
This “kissing event” organized by this group has garnered widespread attention from Korean netizens, who are both confused and angered by its concept.
