Kim Sung Kyu establishes a company and owns the rights to the INFINITE group name Soompi
Kim Sung Kyu has founded an agency and now owns the rights to the name INFINITE!
On May 6th, we learned that INFINITE is preparing to resume group activities after the opening of the group’s social networks.
After that, it was revealed that Kim Sung Kyu had founded a company called INFINITE Company. The company was registered on January 19 and owns the rights to several registered names.
In fact, it is Kim Sung Kyu’s company that owns the rights to the group name “INFINITE”, the fandom name “INSPIRIT” and the concert name of 2017’s INFINITE.
All of these names were previously registered under Woollim Entertainment, but INFINITE Company is now listed as the copyright owner of these names, meaning Woollim either gave them away or sold them.
INFINITE members are therefore free to use their group’s name for their future activities.
