The actor made his official debut in KBS’ kdrama Sharp. The actor played the role of a high school student who is introduced as the love interest of the protagonist (Go Ara). Though his role was small, the actor was able to live up to his screen time and present himself to audiences as an aspiring actor.

His popularity skyrocketed after the release of Sharp. The actor then went on to appear in a number of popular KBS dramas including April Kiss, Drama City, Strongest Chil Woo, He Who Can’t Get Married and Sungkyunkwan Scandal.

On the other hand, KBS also announced a temporary ban on actors such as Kim Sae Ron for his drunk driving incident, Kwak Do Won for verbally assaulting an actress, and Don Spike for drug-related offenses.
