Kang Min Kyung’s (DAVICHI) father and brother sued Soompi for $800,000 in real estate fraud

Kang Min Kyung’s father and brother are being sued.

On February 6, South Korean media announced that the two men were indeed being prosecuted following a large-scale real estate scam.

In 2017, they reportedly raised 1.20 billion won from various investors by promising them land development in Gyeonggi-do. According to the plaintiffs, the agreement was officially validated by a broker.

According to the contract signed by the various parties, the father and brother undertook to complete the development of the property within two years, at the risk of having to reimburse each investor twice his investment.

However, it has been six years and investors have still not been reimbursed while the land is still undeveloped.

Recently, the broker who allowed the contract was arrested, and the investors are now suing Kang Min Kyung’s father and brother, who they also believe are responsible and who they want to comply with the contract.

For his part, the father defends himself by saying that his contract only tied him to the broker and that the situation with the investors did not depend on him.
