Actor Kang Dong Won has been rumored to have had multiple relationships but has never gone public with anyone.

Korean actor Kang Dong Won has several qualities that make up the image of a man of irresistible charm: good acting, a pretty face, and a great family and school background. During his working years, the actor reportedly had several relationships. However, none of them have been confirmed as genuine.

BLACKPINK rose

Kang Dong Won and BLACKPINK Rosé were recently embroiled in a dating rumor that started with a simple photo. Notably, a former Burberry creative director, Riccardo Tisci, posted a photo on his Instagram of a small dinner party at designer Eva Chow’s. He later deleted the photo.

After countless rumors surfaced, more evidence was released suggesting the relationship status of the two celebrities. On April 17, YG released a vague announcement stating: “It is difficult to confirm facts related to our artist’s personal life.”

Still, YG released another statement on the same day. This time they denied the rumours: “We have previously reported that it has not been possible to confirm the artist’s personal affair in relation to rosé, but we reiterate that the indiscriminate speculation has continued. We are revealing that the dating rumors reported today about Rosé are untrue and we would appreciate if you could help ensure that no information other than the facts is released to the public.

Chanson hye kyo

Chanson hye kyo and Kang Dong Won collaborated on two projects: Camellia in 2010 and My Brilliant Life in 2014. Dating rumors began when the two were strolling the streets of Paris. Those involved later denied the rumours.

However, rumors continued to circulate that netizens believed that since Kang Dong Won and Song Hye Kyo were already from the same company, it would be easier for them to develop feelings for each other.

Kang Dong Won also said he confessed his feelings to her, but the actress declined because she wanted to focus on her career.

The rumors only died down when Song Hye Kyo announced his official relationship with Song Joong Ki and Kang Dong Won left UAA for YG Entertainment.

However, Han Hyo Joo and Kang Dong Won both denied the rumors. Still, they were put off by the rumors and even addressed them directly. The actress playfully shared that she and Kang Dong Won share a love of food, which is why they often talk about restaurants. Kang Dong Won said he was not embarrassed by the rumours.

In 2016, Kang Dong Won was rumored to be dating an actress of the same age whom he knew through a middle-aged singer. It has been speculated that Jung Ryeo was the woman in question.

Nevertheless, Kang Dong Won has clearly denied the rumors about his agency. He clarified that he has never met the actress and is sorry that the rumors affected him.
