J-Hope shares a sweet word for his parents and touches fans
BTS’ J-Hope began his compulsory service on April 18 and fans will miss him dearly.
We can imagine how much he must be missed by his loved ones too, especially his parents.
May 8th is a special day in Korea as it is Parents’ Day, a public holiday that is an important part of Korean culture.
Its purpose is to honor and celebrate parents each year and to recognize the important role parents play in the upbringing and care of children.
On this occasion, J-Hope left a sweet message for his parents. On May 7th, The Camp site, which helps keep in touch with compulsory services, published a new photo of J-Hope.
He is sitting on a couch with a smile on his face and holding the letter he made for his parents. It’s a beautiful note with beautiful designs on it.

J-Hope designed a heart decorated with a camouflage print and red carnations. In Korea, it is customary to give carnations to parents on Parents’ Day as a token of gratitude.
