J-Hope reveals he received his compulsory service summons
On February 26th, BIGHIT Music surprised fans with an announcement on Weverse regarding J-Hope’s mandatory service.
In the latter, it was announced that the idol had started his military recruitment process by requesting that his moratorium on recruitment be ended.
On March 16th, J-Hope hosted a live stream via Weverse to chat with fans. He then announced that he had received his summons for military service.
He began by saying: “I can’t tell you exactly, but I already have the date for the call-up. It’s time to prepare. »
He continued: ” Ever since Jin reached out, I’ve been thinking about when to do it, but I’ve decided to go asap and show you a better side of me. »
Upon receiving his review, J-hope shared:
“As soon as I received the notification, Jin contacted me. I asked many questions and Jin gave me advice on what I needed. »
He also revealed his aim for his serve, explaining:
“My goal during my time in the army is not to age. Not aging and keep in good condition. »
On the other hand, the group is on pause to focus on members’ individual activities and for their mandatory departures.
The agency said the group is expected to reconvene in 2025.
