How did BTS’ Jimin come to work together on Angel Pt. 1″? JVKE says it all
The highly anticipated official music video for “Angel Part”. 1′ has finally arrived and features an extraordinary collaboration between rap sensations NLE Choppa and Kodak Black, along with the haunting vocals of BTS’ Jimin, the infectious beats of JVKE and the soulful vocals of Muni Long.
We are committed to an unparalleled audiovisual experience.
This collaboration is actually a participation in the OST of Fast X, a spin-off of the popular Fast and Furious film series.
But how did this collaboration come about? A recent interview with JVKE shows how much the producers appreciated Jimin’s role in the song.
JVKE stated that he took to the song so well and liked it so much that he agreed to join in without even knowing what it was about.
“So it all came down to someone reaching out to me and sending me this song, and I usually write most of my songs with just me and my brother. And I didn’t write this one, but I recorded it for some of my friends and I said, “This is the best song I’ve ever heard that’s ever been written to me.”
Apparently Jimin had a similar experience.
“I think something very similar happened to Jimin; Someone sent him the song and just floated the idea that we should both be in it. »
According to JVKE, Jimin really liked the song, as did all the performers.
“And that was really cool, because originally the title was very violin-centric, very orchestral, but now it’s become a bit more piano-ish, and that was part of my influence. And when he got to Jimin, he got a similar answer. We’re all just the biggest fans; Everyone involved in the project said, ‘This is the song.’ This is it.’ »
Obviously the fans love the song and the collaboration, although some didn’t want Jimin to be associated with the rappers.
Next time a little Jimin cameo in a movie?
