Hauts-de-Seine: A 48-year-old woman was found dead in a pool of blood at home and her son was taken into police custody


A woman in her 40s was found dead amid a pool of blood at her accommodation in Malakoff (Hauts-de-Seine) on Wednesday evening. She was reportedly killed with ten stab wounds. Her son is currently in custody.

A drama of unbelievable violence. On the evening of January 18, a 46-year-old woman was found dead at her home in Malakoff, in the Hauts-de-Seine department, with what is believed to have been a dozen stab wounds.

The victim’s son was arrested by the police and taken into custody, according to Le Parisien. The 23-year-old young man was arrested at his father’s house in Vitry-sur-Seine (Val-de-Marine).

The roommate was taken into police custody and then released

The victim had been found in a pool of blood by his flatmate, in his 50s, when he returned to their home around 8.30pm.

The roommate was taken into custody on Thursday morning to testify without any suspicion of crime and was released around noon.

An investigation was launched in flagranti and entrusted to the Hauts-de-Seine criminal police, the Nanterre public prosecutor said.
