Golden Globes 2023: Kevin Costner, Best Actor in a Drama
It was one of the big moments of the 2023 Golden Globes: Kevin Costner was crowned Best Actor in a Drama for Yellowstone.
We recently pointed out that despite his tremendous success on Paramount+, yellowstone is a series whose myriad qualities are difficult to discern. In 5 seasons, the series was at the Emmy Awards once. But last night, against his competitors – Jeff Bridges (The old man), Diego Luna (Andor), Bob Odenkirk (Better call Saul) and Adam Scott (severance pay) – Kevin Costner was crowned Best Actor in a Drama Series thanks to his role as John Dutton, whom he has played brilliantly on the show for the last 5 years.
The actor had won the Golden Globes for best director for Dances With Wolves, then for best actor in a miniseries for Outstanding. Hatfields & McCoys. Will this win be confirmed with the Emmys in September? We want it because what Costner has been doing on the show for 5 years is really incredible.
