Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon Posts Mysterious Instagram Stories, Fans Worry About His SM Future
Girls’ Generation leader Taeyeon has sparked rumors about her relationship with record label SM Entertainment after a series of Instagram posts.
On March 13, Taeyeon caught the eye after posting a new photo on her Instagram story. Notably, she first startled fans when she uploaded a photo that read “Resignation Letter.”
In the photo, she crossed out the name Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon) and replaced it with her name Kim Taeyeon, which referred to an iconic scene from the popular Netflix series The Glory.
This sparked speculation that Taeyeon is ready to leave SM Entertainment.
Taeyeon is one of the artists who have stayed with SM Entertainment the longest. However, during the SM Entertainment acquisition controversy between HYBE and Kakao, Taeyeon continued to express his dissatisfaction with the company.
Shortly after this post, on March 16, Taeyeon returned to Instagram with two more cryptic posts, both of which related to the “change.”
One was a screenshot of her listening to Justin Bieber’s song “Changes.” The other was a repost of a quote in Korean that read: ” Everything will change. Thoughts. Feelings. People. Everything we think will take forever will eventually happen. »
Taeyeon’s posts have led fans to speculate that she may be alluding to her relationship with longtime record label SM Entertainment. The singer has been signed to the K-pop agency for the past 15 years since her debut on Girls’ Generation in August 2007.
On the other hand, the battle to acquire SM Entertainment ended on March 12 when Kakao took over the management rights.
