Gia Kim (Yuri) and Sang Heon Lee (Minho) from “XO, Kitty” are actually brother and sister
XO, Kitty, the spin-off of A All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, finally arrived on Netflix on May 18, and fans wasted no time watching the episodes and getting to know the cast.
Anna Cathcart reprises her role as Kitty in the series based on Lara Jeans’ (Lana Condor) little sister finding out what love really means by traveling to South Korea to find her boyfriend. But it’s not as easy as she imagined.
Along the way, she meets fellow cast members Yuri and Min Ho, played by Gia Kim and Sang Heon Lee, respectively.
What drew even more attention shortly after the series’ release was the fact that the two “XO, Kitty” co-stars Gia Kim and Sang Heon Lee are siblings in real life too.
If you didn’t know that, don’t worry because neither did the other actors when filming began.
Minyeong Choi told the story during an interview with Teen Vogue, and everyone found out via text message.
Choi Min Young said: “I don’t know if I can say this, but did you know that Gia Kim and Sang Heon Lee are siblings in real life? »
This spread quickly on the Internet, as many were not aware of this fact.
Choi Min Young said: ” The way I found out started when Anna Cathcart and Sang Heon Lee first contacted me
[après avoir été choisi].
While we were talking in a group chat, Lee Sang Heon suddenly asked us, “I can bring my sister too, right?”
I was confused at first because while it would be nice to meet my cast members’ family members, I didn’t really want to meet them when I first met them
[tous les membres de la distribution].
I was about to say something, but Sang Heon suddenly said, “To be honest, my sister was cast as Yuri. That’s why I was shocked. »
And that’s exactly the reaction we had when we found out!
