A very promising sequel
This is the sequel to Frank Herbert’s cult SF novel. Now alone with his mother, Dame Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson), Paul Atréides (Timothée Chalamet) will forge an alliance with Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen, those rebels who live in the desert of Arrakis. Together they will face the House of Harkonnen to avenge the hero’s decimated family. In this trailer we can spot a spectacular Paul Atreides riding a sandworm. Canadian director Denis Villeneuve is also directing this second part of the science fiction film. Remember that the first part, released in 2021, had grossed more than $400 million in box office worldwide.
A richer cast
New actors and actresses join the cast. Actress Léa Seydoux, darling of French cinema, joins the film to portray Lady Margot. Christopher Walken will wear the costume of the emblematic Emperor Shaddam IV, sworn enemy of the Atreides.
