Cha Eun Woo returned to Korea from the United States for Moonbin’s funeral, appearing in all-black outfits and with tears in his eyes
Upon hearing the sad news from member Moonbin, ASTRO Cha Eun Woo quickly returned home from his appointment in the United States.
Cha Eun Woo, who was engaged in personal activities in the United States, urgently returned home upon receiving the heartbreaking news of member Moonbin’s death. He arrived at Incheon International Airport on the evening of April 20.
Through photos and videos captured by reporters, Cha Eun Woo arrived at Incheon Airport wearing a navy blue Dior jacket, hat and mask, all in black. As he exited the departure hall, he wore a deeply sad expression.
It is known that Cha Eun Woo went straight to the Moonbin morgue.
Other ASTRO members also shared their grief. Chief JinJin and member Sanha, who worked with Moonbin in a sub-unit, were the first to come to the funeral home, while older brother MJ, who is currently serving in the military, took a leave of absence and went straight to the funeral home at the Moonbin mortuary. Also, former member Rocky, who left ASTRO in February, reportedly came to the funeral home to mourn.

The MBC M “Show Champion” production team, for which Moonbin worked as an MC until last year, posted a commemorative message on their official SNS account, stating: “2 years and 8 months at Moonbin. It was really warm, thank you. So many happy reasons together that we will remember forever.
This week’s new release schedule of “MMTG,” the Youtube content that Moonbin appeared on during his lifetime, has also been cancelled. The other well-known YouTube channels “No Prepared” and “BamBam Social Club” have also decided to take a week to mourn.
Moonbin, born in 1998, debuted in 2006 as a child actor in DBSK’s music video “Balloons”. In 2009, he gained attention with the role of young Kim Bum in KBS drama “Boys Over Flowers”. A member of ASTRO in 2016, Moonbin also formed a sub-unit with member Sanha and received great love from fans around the world. The duo released their third mini-album INCENSE in January this year.
According to police, Moonbin was found dead by his manager at his home in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. He died at the age of 25. The mortuary of the deceased was set up in room 30 of Asan Hospital’s funeral home, and his funeral will be held on the 22nd.
