CAP Leaves Teen Top and Apologizes After Controversial Direct

Recently, Teen Top leader CAP hosted a live stream to chat with fans. unfortunately, This broadcast became controversial as he openly smoked.

When some asked him not to smoke, he got angry and even said that maybe the group’s comeback would then happen without him.

The band’s agency initially apologized for their artist’s behavior.

Then, on May 11, TOP Media made a new announcement, revealing that CAP Teen would be leaving Top and not participating in the group’s comeback.

First of all we would like to say a huge thank you to the fans who are sending lots of love to Teen Top.

After consultation with the members of Teen Top, we have decided to withdraw CAP from the group starting today.

As a result, Teen Top will reorganize into a four-man system with Chunji, Niel, Ricky, and Changjo.

Once again, we sincerely apologize that CAP’s reckless words and actions have caused concern to many.

The agency feels a lot of responsibility for this whole situation and we aim to do our best to manage our artists.

We will inform you about the details of the return after a detailed discussion with the members.

Following the agency’s announcement, CAP apologized on Instagram.

Before I begin speaking, I would first like to apologize to the many people who have been hurt by my words and actions.

I was aware that controversy could arise, but I only thought of myself and acted selfishly.
