BTS, SEVENTEEN and more get recognition Kpop News
The winners of the 37th Japan Gold Disc Awards have finally been announced, and these K-pop artists have won trophies!

Gagnants of the 37th Japan Gold Disc Awards: BTS, SEVENTEEN, More Take Home Trophys
On March 10th, the winners of the 37th Japan Gold Disc Awards were announced by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

In the list, BTS dominated, winning five awards. The group won Best Asian Artist for the fifth year in a row, as well as Download Song of the Year (Asia) for “Yet to Come”.
BTS also won Music Video of the Year (Asia) for “BTS 2021 MUSTER SOWOOZOO”. Their album “Proof” also joined the top 3 albums (Asia).
BTS not only won awards as a group but also individually. BTS Jungkook won Song of the Year by Streaming (Western) with “Left and Right,” her collaboration track with singer-songwriter Charlie Puth.

SEVENTEEN picked up three awards and became Album of the Year (Asia) with the Japanese title “DREAM”. They also achieved two places in the top 3 albums with “DREAM” and the Korean album “Face the Sun”.
Rookie monster band IVE has won the New Artist of the Year (Asia) trophy. In the Asian Top 3 New Artist category, IVE, Kep1er and VERIVERY took the spots due to their first Japanese releases in 2022.

Kep1er also won Streaming Song of the Year (Asia) with their debut Korean track, WA DA DA.
Winner of the 36th Japan Gold Disc Awards
The winners of the Japan Gold Record Award 2022 were also announced. During the awards, BTS made history by winning a total of 10 awards. With this tremendous feat, BTS became the first foreign artist to accomplish this feat in one year.

The K-pop sensation won Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (Asia) for Japanese release “BTS, THE BEST” and Music Video of the Year (Asia) for “Map of the Soul ON:E .” BTS won for the fourth time also honored to join Top 3 Albums (Asia).
Their hit “Butter” won Streaming Song of the Year (Asia) and Download Song of the Year (Asia). Her collaboration with Coldplay, “My Universe,” won Download (Western) Song of the Year.

BTS also received a spot in the top 5 songs by upload. “Butter” and “Permission to Dance” both earned their spots in the top 5 streaming songs (alongside Japanese and Western releases).
SEVENTEEN’s “Attacca” and TXT’s “Chaotic Wonderland” joined the Top 3 albums (Asia). ENHYPEN also won New Artist of the Year (Asia) alongside ITZY and TREASURE and a Top 3 Albums spot.
