Prior to the 14th, his feed contained a total of 130 posts, of which only 12 remain, ten of which are related to his solo album Indigo.

One features him with his friend and singer John Eun and the last focuses on The Dictionary Of Useless Human Knowledge, his show with director Jang Hang Jun.

BTS members J-Hope and RM are the most active when it comes to posting on their Instagram accounts. Since RM’s account is literally @rkive, fans also saw it as an archive of the rapper’s memories.

Luckily, some fan sites keep an archive of BTS members’ Instagram pages, so RM’s posts will always be preserved.

A few hours after deleting the old posts, RM gave the fans new photos. He shared a collection of new paintings and photos with friends under the title “Hello”.

While some fans were upset at losing all of those positions, others wondered if this was his way of making an announcement.

The tendency for celebrities to make big changes to their social media to create excitement about a project is common. Also, RM previously mentioned that he’s working on a new project after Indigo.

Some fans supported RM’s decision, understanding that sometimes a revival is needed for the sake of his artistic streak.

On the other hand, RM isn’t the only one worried about fans by deleting his Instagram posts. Last year, the youngest member of BTS, Jungkook, also left fans worried and shocked after deleting all the photos from his Instagram.

He later revealed the reason during a VLIVE, saying that he wanted to change the style and aesthetic of his social media, so he deleted the old posts.
