BTS Jimin spent his third straight week on the Billboard Hot 100 with the song “Like Crazy,” making him their first solo performer since PSY.

For the week ending April 22, Jimin’s retro craze “Like Crazy” spent its third straight week on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song charted at number 52, underscoring her worldwide popularity. Ranked among the hottest music releases in the United States, Hot 100 features the presence of Jimin, who became just the second soloist after PSY to land a Korean song for three consecutive weeks. In 2012 and 2013, PSY released Gangnam Style and Gentleman, respectively.

Jimin has also made a name for himself on various charts on Billboard. Additionally, the idol became the first solo K-pop artist to spend three weeks in the top 25 on the Billboard 200, with his debut solo album FACE defending its position at number 24.

The album also spent three consecutive weeks on Billboard’s World Albums chart at No. 1, Top Current Album Sales chart at No. 5, and Top Album Sales chart at No. 6.

“Like Crazy” also reached #2 on the Digital Song Sales and Global Digital Song Sales charts. It has also earned a spot at #10 on the Global 200 and #8 on the Off-World US charts. Additionally, Jimin earned No. 14 on Artist 100 and spent his fourth week on the chart.

On April 3, Billboard unveiled their Hot 100 list, which included Jimin’s song “Like Crazy.” The release debuted at No. 1 on the chart, making Jimin the first Korean soloist to top the chart and earning his first-ever No. 1 for his solo career.

Dates covered were March 24-30, with “Like Crazy” selling 254,000 song downloads, CD singles, 10 million streams and 64,000 impressions among radio audiences. “Like Crazy” has earned the most numbers since Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero” in November 2022.

Before he achieved that, Jimin’s pre-release song “Set Me Free Pt. 2” entered the Hot 100 and secured the No. 30 spot, as announced on March 28. “Like Crazy” is his second solo release to climb the charts.

Meanwhile, on April 2nd, Jimin’s album “FACE” debuted on the Top 200 Albums chart. The album ranked second, resulting in Jimin becoming the first Korean soloist to reach the Top 2.

The singer also surpassed artist Olivia Rodrigo, who hit #1 on the charts with “Sour” on June 5, 2021. This makes “FACE” the highest-charting debut solo album on the Billboard 200. According to Luminate, “FACE” amassed 164,000 equivalent album units. for the week ending March 30th.

The album also recorded 124,000 traditional album sales, 13,500 streaming equivalent album units (SEA), 19.51 million on-demand streams, and 26,500 track equivalent album units (TEA) in its first week.
