BTS Jimin ranks ahead of solo debut Kpop News on Billboard

BTS Jimin is preparing for his solo career. But before his solo debut, he’s giving Billboard a boost.

BTS Jimin Stands Out on Billboard Ahead of Solo Debut

On March 15, BTS Jimin gained momentum on the Billboard charts ahead of the official release of her solo album, due out later this month.

Prior to her solo debut, BTS ranked Jimin #2 on Billboard’s Global Digital Song Sales chart with her previous solo track “Promise,” followed by “Christmas Love,” according to the chart released by Billboard.

BIGBANG Taeyang, with whom he collaborated on the song “VIBE”, took 9th place.

BTS Jimin will release their highly anticipated debut solo album, FACE. The B-side song and music video “Set Me Free Pt.2” is scheduled for release on March 17th.

Concept art and video teasers for the upcoming album have been revealed by BIGHIT musicTriggering the ARMY anticipation.

According to the company, “FACE” will contain a total of 6 songs, including the title track “Like Crazy” and the pre-single “Free Me pt. 2.”

Meanwhile, prior to the announcement, BTS teased Jimin ARMYs via a live broadcast on Weverse regarding his solo album. He said he has something planned that fans would really enjoy.

On January 13, Jimin and BIGBANG Taeyang released their collaborative track “VIBE,” which served as Jimin’s first official release of 2023 after BTS announced they were pausing group releases to focus on projects.

BTS leader RM released his solo album Indigo on December 2, 2022. He has also teamed up with So!YOON! in his track “Smoke Sprite”, released March 14.

J-Hope also released his solo album titled Jack In The Box in June 2022. In early March 2023 he released his single “On the Street” featuring famous international rapper J. Cole.

Jin and Coldplay released The Astronaut in October 2022. BTS Hyung also competed in December last year.

Meanwhile, BTS Maknae Jungkook collaborated with Charlie Puth on Left and Right in June 2022. They also performed “Dreamers” for the opening ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in November last year.

Finally, in February, BTS Suga announced a solo tour. It starts at the end of April and runs through Asia and the United States.
