BTS’ Jimin is honest about his career aspirations, reflects on the group break and the role of fans
BTS’ Jimin is on the cover of Vogue Korea and he’s a real work of art!
On March 15, Vogue Korea published a photoshoot and interview with Jimin, in which he discussed his upcoming solo album FACE, his relationship with fans, his career and more.
Jimin revealed his debut album would be out “autobiographical”.
He added : “After listening to this album and going to a coffee shop that you like, if you focus on listening to my album you will have a perfect day. »
Jimin added that his main hope is to grow as an artist. During the interview, he went back to the challenges that come with being a kpop idol and an independent artist.
“As a pop artist, I want to excel at dancing and singing. I also want to perform a wide range of musical genres and themes rather than sticking to just one type. Of course, I’ve learned over the years that pushing yourself to be perfect at everything is neither healthy nor productive. I want to show my fans the best, but I also have to take a healthy and sustainable approach. »
The artist continued: “The members, the staff, the fans and the people who make me shine even brighter are by my side, so I often think, ‘I’m a really lucky person.’
It gives me strength. Incredible energy is released as my sense of responsibility as a member of BTS, my joy when I am with the members, and my gratitude for the fans’ unwavering love all merge together. »
Jimin also spoke about the group and what they call their “second chapter,” which focuses on individual activities.
Jimin is thrilled to see his bandmates find their calling and independently explore their creative instincts. But he confessed that he was also scared and afraid of the new journey.
He revealed: “Now that we’ve embarked on these new adventures separately, I can’t help but feel anxious and scared from time to time. At times like this I think of the other band members and try to find strength in them.
Of course, as I see the other members of BTS finding their calling and trying to keep growing, I feel inspired and motivated to achieve my own goals as well, until the day we all meet again. »
Towards the end of the interview, Jimin spoke about his friendship with the fans. He shared: “Our friendship is already in its 10th year. It’s not short.
Although we cannot understand everything of each other, I believe that we have at least become fully aware of our thoughts and sympathies. Over time, I can feel the presence of ARMYs that I have long trusted and relied on gradually growing. »
And the fans are definitely ready to see the members all together again, but also to support the upcoming solo projects of the members.
And it looks like Pdogg, a renowned music producer who has been with BTS since before their debut, is very excited about Jimin’s forthcoming album.
Pdogg caught the eye with his recent Instagram Story saying Jimin’s solo debut will “end kpop in 2023.”
