BTS fans don’t want Jimin collaborating with ‘criminals’ for ‘Fast X’
On May 9th, BIGHIT MUSIC announced that Jimin will be collaborating with American rappers and singers Kodak Black, NLE Choppa, JVKE and Muni Long on the soundtrack for the upcoming movie in the Fast and Furious franchise, Fast X.
The new song titled “Angel Pt.1” will be released on May 18th.
Fast & Furious has been a hugely popular film franchise since its debut over 20 years ago.
The fact that Jimin lends his voice to the soundtrack of one of the franchise’s films greatly delighted fans, who considered it another achievement of the singer.
However, some have expressed concern that Jimin is working with rapper NLE Choppa.
The reason: The latter was accused of domestic violence by his daughter’s mother. The artist even confirmed in tweets that he tried to shoot her. “before she got pregnant” and was accused by the woman of shooting at a house where her daughter was staying.
And that’s unfortunately not all. For his part, Kodak Black has faced various allegations throughout his life. In 2017, he was accused of theft by a teenager.
The artist eventually pleaded guilty to have his sentence reduced.
The rapper was sentenced to 46 months in federal prison for lying on gun-related background check documents – serving just 10 months before former President Donald Trump commuted his sentence.
Because of this, many fans said they couldn’t support the collaboration. Taking to social media, they expressed their discomfort at seeing Jimin alongside criminals.
